Primary school children will pair with a local senior to draw their portrait.
A multi-generational program where seniors sit and have their portraits drawn by primary-school-aged children. This program was inspired by the Kingston Library's program of the same name.
Children will meet at the Sylvan Lake Seniors Lodge and be paired with a senior to draw a portrait. They'll get the chance to talk to and learn about someone from an older generation while creating a fun piece of art. A wonderful exploration of art and humanity!
Registration required, limited spaces available. All materials provided by the Library.
