Sylvan Lake Film Society

The Sylvan Lake Municipal Library and the Silver Lake Cinema are pleased to announce the 2008-2009 season of The Sylvan Lake Film Society.

The Sylvan Lake Film Society, a Sylvan Lake Municipal Library program, provides transformative film experiences to filmgoers in underserved communities.

The Sylvan Lake Film Society works with Film Circuit, a division of the Toronto International Film Festival Group. "Film Circuit is an association of over 190 domestic and 40 international film groups that screen short and feature films throughout Canada.

Film Circuit is generously supported by Bell, Telefilm Canada, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, Ontario Media Development Corporation, Ontario Arts Council, Cineplex Entertainment and Mackenzie Investments."

Films are screened at the Silver Lake Cinema at 7:15 p.m. the last Monday of the month.

Season passes are available for $50.00 for seven films at the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library.
Individual tickets are $8.00 each at the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library or at the door.
